Broken into three distinct stages, Somatic Yoga, Breath-Work and Yoga Nidra, this class is your deep haven for relaxation.

The first stage: Somatic Yoga.

Somatic yoga is "Yoga from the Inside". The focus is on sensing your way in and out of the poses. It differs from other styles of yoga because it focuses on how the movements FEEL to YOU from the inside, rather than how they look to anyone else. It’s about being gentle, mindful, and deeply sensing your body in every moment. All without any pushing, over-achieving, or trying to get somewhere in particular. It’s a gentle and nourishing practice that brings us back to our innate. softness. Because of these reasons, Somatic Yoga is such a great style of yoga for anxiety and depression. Somatic yoga is a divine form of yoga that is growing in popularity thanks to its mindful approach. It helps retrain the brain to allow muscles to relax fully and go back to their natural state, undoing habitual movement patterns that can lead to pain.
Somatic yoga encourages you to get in touch with your own senses, your own authority, and move in a way that feels good to you, continuously exploring new ways of moving and being.

The second stage: Breath-Work.

Finding tranquillity and clarity in today’s fast-paced world often feels like a distant dream. Yet there's a powerful tool within all of us that's accessible at any moment and capable of transforming your mental, emotional, and physical state. That tool is our breath.
The benefits of Breath-Work are impossible to fully describe, as a myriad of factors converge to create such profound healing and transformation. While the enchanting magic remains inexplicable in its entirety, Breath-work is a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation and is increasingly being used for healing and personal growth.
Our breath stands as the primary source of moment-to-moment energy intake, and the practice of Breath-work serves as a vital fuel for our body’s inherent healing mechanisms. Engaging in Breath-work facilitates the release of stagnant energy, thereby elevating our energy bodies to a higher vibration.

The third Stage: Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is an effortless and nourishing Yoga practice that involves no physical movement at all; just resting and listening! It is an adaptive, meditative state of being that anyone can access to find healing, nourishment and liberation.
In the realm of relaxation techniques, Yoga Nidra reigns supreme. By guiding you into a state of profound relaxation, this practice allows your body and mind to release built-up tensions, stress, and anxiety. As you lay comfortably on your back, you will be guided through a series of gentle instructions, taking you on a journey of deep calmness and tranquility. By systematically relaxing each part of your body and delving into a meditative state, Yoga Nidra grants you the ultimate gift: a profound sense of relaxation that rejuvenates your entire being.

Yoga Nidra goes beyond ordinary relaxation, and while it provides the same benefits, it does so much more. It expands your consciousness, allowing for a greater sense of self-awareness and a higher vantage point for a larger, more complete perspective.
